Neurotransmitter and Adrenal Test

Are you experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, lack of focus and concentration, binge eating or other addictive behaviors? Find out which neurotransmitters are contributing to your symptoms by measuring urine and saliva samples collected in the privacy of your own home.

Levels of serotonin, dopamine, GABA, histamine, melatonin and many more can be measured and reported. In addition to these neurotransmitters, adrenal gland markers including epinephrine, norepinephrine, 4-point salivary cortisol profiles and DHEA levels can also be measured. Test results allow us to create an evidence-based treatment plan and monitoring regime targeted directly at your individual biochemistry.

Testing is covered completely under Medicare, TRICARE, and some PPOs. Fees for ALL other insurance carriers (including HMO’s) are discounted to $150–225 (depending on the test panel chosen).

Spectra cell nutrient and vitamin test

This is a $2,400 test that is covered completely under some PPOs. A $170 max. fee will be charged for all other insurance carriers (except Cigna), and for those without insurance we offer a special cash price of only $370. This simple blood test allows you to discover what vitamins, minerals, and nutrients your body specifically needs and what it is deficient in, enabling you to tailor your personal supplement protocol.

During your 45-min one-on-one visit ($175.00) with one of our doctors, they will recommend what supplements are needed to rectify your deficiencies and maintain optimal health. They will also ensure you are on the best quality professional supplements available. You will leave your appointment with individualized guidelines regarding how and when to take your supplements, how to avoid interactions with medications, and personalized dietary guidelines to ensure optimal nutrition.

Blood Work

Blood Work

Done after the first visit.

During the first appointment, we will put together a lab requisition form for you to bring to a local lab near your home for the blood draw. What is being tested for is individual and will be determined from the initial meeting when the patient shares their symptoms, health concerns and goals. Blood work is more extensive than what a patient is used to with their doctor as hormones and nutritional tests are usually included in the work up. Blood work is covered under most PPO plans. If you do not have insurance coverage, we will provide you with at cost tests to prevent you being charged insurance prices.

Body Composition Test

Body Composition Test $10

Using bio-impedance analysis (BIA), your fat pounds, water in your body, muscle mass and how many calories you need to eat to ensure weight loss will be calculated for you. With this information, we keep track of your weight to ensure you are losing fat pounds and not losing muscle mass. It is recommended to do this test every month to monitor progress. For best results, use this in coordination with our First Line Therapy program.

  • Thermography is a non-invasive diagnostic exam which uses infrared cameras to detect early signs of pre-cancerous tissue.  By detecting minute variations in normal blood vessel activity, infrared imaging may find thermal signs suggesting a pre-cancerous state of the breast or the presence an early tumor that is not yet large enough to be detected by physical examination, mammography, or other types of structural imaging.

In addition to the exam of the breast and abdominal area, it also includes a 15-minute consult to go over the results with the doctor. Please call our office to book your thermogram or book online.

    Heavy Metal Testing

    Heavy Metal Testing $60

Have you ever wondered whether heavy metals are contributing to the symptoms you are experiencing? Exposure to heavy metals can occur from many sources including vaccinations, dental amalgams (silver fillings) and implants, orthopedic implants, occupation and environmental exposures, food, water, cosmetics, jewelry, and cookware, just to name a few. Heavy metals can be present in your body with or without being the root cause of your symptoms. There are two types of heavy metals tests offered at the clinic to help you determine whether heavy metal detoxification is right for you.

The first is MELISA heavy metal profiling. This simple blood test that allows you to determine if your immune system is negatively reacting to metals present in your body and are contributing to your symptoms. Test results allow your Doctor
to determine if heavy metal detoxification treatment is necessary and how quickly you should begin treatment. We also use this testing to determine, in advance, if your child is likely to have a negative response to a future vaccination.

The second type of testing are unprovoked and provoked heavy metal tests. These tests are used to determine if you are currently being exposed to heavy metals and if heavy metals have not been adequately excreted from your body. These tests can be performed from a simple blood draw and/or urine specimen (depending on our insurance status) for either no cost to you or a max. of $60.00 each. Comparing these unprovoked and provoked values allows your doctor to determine if you are in need of heavy metal detoxification treatment.

    Digestion and Yeast Testing

    Digestion and Yeast Testing $75

During the assessment with the doctor, a test kit would be provided for you to do a three day stool sample at home. This send-away test will look for a number of digestive concerns, including the most common, yeast (Candida) overgrowth.

    Hormone Testing

    Hormone Testing $150 - 175

For men and women. You will receive an evaluation report including your test results, details of your current symptoms, and an analysis of your hormone status. The test results will help you identify hormone imbalances, metabolic risk factors and overall wellness prior to the appearance of symptoms or disease. The results may also identify specific imbalances associated with symptoms, establish baselines prior to surgery or at the beginning of therapy, as well as monitor hormone levels while supplementing.

Saliva testing is a convenient, inexpensive, and above all, accurate means of testing steroid hormones. Scientific studies have shown a strong correlation between steroid hormone levels in saliva and the amount of hormone in the blood that is active or “bioavailable.” It is this fraction of total hormone that is free to enter the target tissues in the brain, uterus, skin, and breasts.

    Two tests available:
1 – Estradiol, progesterone, DHEA, cortisol, testosterone
2 – 4 time cortisol test. Assesses cortisol curve to test adrenal function
